Funded under the EU Lifelong Learning Programme – Policy Cooperation and Innovation in Lifelong Learning (Key Activity 1) the ExpandO project brings together leading actors from a sample of LLP countries, which will promote transnational cooperation in the implementation of Lifelong Learning Strategies, more particularly in the field of Widening Access. In doing so the partnership wishes to reach out to a variety of pools of ‘new’ learners within the European Higher Education Area-EHEA as well as to provide advice and support to HEI’s when it comes to revision of admission systems as well as provision of appropriate support services these ‘new’ student bodies require. Partners in the project have been carefully selected on the basis of their expertise, the countries they represent and the access they have to the main stakeholders.
